Ernie (Ernie Bernstein)

When we got another family member. (June 2023)

We had been looking for months at many rescue organisation and the many dogs that need homes and then Ernie popped up and I just knew. I had a huge feeling that this lovely boy was meant to be ours. Frantically calling Tim because I was actually in the UK at the time and he said why not! So what follows in me completing the application form in record timing and contacting the lovely people at RedBowdogBerlin and hoping.

When they said yes we were thrilled and then had the painful waiting period until he made the hell of a journey from Romania to us in Berlin.

He was, as all rescue dogs are, dirty, stinky and very tired. Poor little dude was so hungry and confused. He walked in and peed and pooed everywhere! Poor baby must have been so desperate.

We were so impressed with Eevee and her kindness towards him, shes normally quite lively but was so gentle with him and gave him space to settled in.

Our hearts are so full, we love him so much and he brings us joy every day.
