About me
  • Mauerpark

Located next to the Mauerpark, a large gated space. The landscape isn‘t amazing but the dogs have plenty of room to run. Be warned theres quite a few inexperienced dog owners here so if you‘ve got a dog thats nervous around other dogs its one to be avoided.

On the flip side, lovely friendly crowd of people most weekday mornings from 8am.

    Eberswalder Str 2, 10437.

  • Hasenheide

Located in the Volksparc Hasenheide, a lovely large space with trees and shadowy spots for the summer. Grassy area, sand and trees so plenty of sniffing opportunities. Also seating and some agilty bits for your fury friend to jump on.

Overall a lovely place for all sizes of dog and not far from loads of cafes.

  • Anton Seafkow

Located in Anton-Seafkow Park. The dog park is a good size but smaller than most, its amongst the trees which feels great. Not much of a grass area, mostly dry ground but the dogs seem happy to run free. The fence however is quite low so if your dog is a jumper they could easily make this.

  • Tempelhofer Feld x3

Probably the biggest place for dogs in Berlin. There are three fenced dog areas one of which has a full adgilty area. Loads of grass and enough space to spend the day with your dogs, picnics and friends. Dogs must be leashed outside of the fenced areas.

  • Hundeauslauf Volkspark Friedrichshain

Located in the middle of the Volksparc, which is actually a lovely walk in itself. Dogs must be kept on a lead through the park and be sure to look out for all the runners!!

The dog park is fine and clean, however on weekends it can get busy. Theres a lovely open space but also plenty of trees for sniffing and running around.

  • Hundeauslaufgebiet Jungfernheide

A beautiful, open and large dog park. Totally fenced in with secure gates. The dog park offers plenty of platforms for dogs to jump on and practice their agility. Its clean, has several bins for waste and is big enough to not feel too crowded. The actual Volksparc Jungefernheide is also beautiful if you decide to the dog park, just make sure your dogs are kept on a lead ad there is plenty of wildlife. The park is huge so you can easily spend a couple of hours walking around without going to the dog park if you dont like the vibes.

  • Hundeauslaufgebiet Grunewald

OK so not exactly a “dog park” becuase its not fenced in, but the whole forest and lake is dog friendly. Not only dog friendly but literally a dog paradise, the dogs own these woods. If you or your dog doesnt like other dogsdogs dont go here.

Nearly all the dogs are off leash and. the expectation is they are allowed to free road, run and ply where ever they like. The lake is fantastic at anytime of year, in summer you will see dogs and their humans swimming together. You can do a small walk and hang out at any of the dogs beaches or you can walk around the whole lake and into the magnificent forest. Theres loads of trails and ample space for everyone to have a really good time.

In addition there is a “Hunting Lodge” which has a great outside seating area and cafe.

Plus Paulsborn am Grunewaldsee, which is a mix of Hotel, beer garden and delicious little huts selling hot and cold drinks and food. Theres loads of seating and even toilets. Making it the perfect pitstop.
